We had a wonderful time at the #ukitawards last night. The event at the Battersea Park Events Arena (London’s largest dining venue) was billed as the “perfect opportunity for the UK IT industry to highlight their successes and achievements over the past year” and it certainly was. The British Computer Society put on a fantastic event full of good food, good people and good entertainment – special mention to Jimmy Carr who was the fantastic (and laugh out loud funny) host of the evening.
With over 1,300 guests in attendance, it was great to see the innovative projects and technologies from the past 12 months and meet some of the individuals and organisations who pioneered them. Alas, we didn’t win the Innovative Mobile App of the Year narrowly losing out to National Rail. However, we’d like congratulate them and their Signalling & Crossing app for collecting the award.
Last night wouldn’t have been possible without our talented Stage Intelligence colleagues Francois McDonald, Dr Lin Li and Tony Bridgeman. Without their dedication, commitment and tireless hard work, our prestigious nomination wouldn’t have been possible.
